Merry Christmas from iTunes

We didn't think they'd actually acknowledge the glitch that we, and others, recently experienced. Out of respect for iTunes, we never posted about it anywhere. I guess they finally got around to cleaning up the mess, though. I wonder how many people were affected? I'll bet someone lost their job over it. Here's what they just sent me:

Dear Jennifer,

Thank you for purchasing a Season Pass for Avatar: The Last Airbender from the iTunes Store.

On November 18th, several Danny Phantom episodes were mistakenly
delivered to you. If you downloaded these episodes, please enjoy them
with our compliments. Please rest assured that you were not charged for
these episodes.

Any episodes of Danny Phantom you did not download have now been
removed from your download queue. We're very sorry for any
inconvenience the Danny Phantom episodes might have caused.

Thank you again for being an iTunes customer.

Sincerely,
Kate Wormington
Sr. Manager, Customer Experience
iTunes Store

Truthfully, it was hard not to notice - each episode triggered its own email reminder. We guessed that someone (inadvertantly) put the entire second season of Danny Phantom into the Avatar directory. Danny Phantom isn't bad...we wouldn't have bought it, but we weren't going to complain about $40 worth of free shows. Next time, Kate, can you misplace season two of Babylon 5?
