feeling like floating into the new year...
Happy 2009! I hope you all had a great holiday and start to the new year. To start off 2009 at Oh Joy...here are a handful of my current favorite images. Balloons seem to be everywhere lately {they're the new mustache!}, so here's a little ode to things that are round, floaty, and cheerful!
{left to right, top to bottom: Joanna Goddard's GORGEOUS engagement photos by Max Wanger, installation by pirajamaharaja, Dorthe Alstrup print, tissue paper puffs in Tim's home in the Dec 08 issue of LivingEtc, yellow puff from Liana's Big Sur wedding at Once Wed, heart balloon girl from Iefke de Roos look book via siagrafica, monsieur II print by blancucha, and balloons indoors by That Was My Foot.}

fifty people, one question
Since this will be a short posting week with the holidays, here's a little Sunday night bit for you. I've been totally obsessed with this film series by Crush & Lovely called Fifty People, One Question. So far, three films are available to view on their site. It's sweet, real, and makes you think about the best things & people in your life.

etten eller
These pieces by Etten Eller have a beautiful and subtle reference to time with the use of antique pocket watch parts. Some pieces can be purchased right here.

mini marimekko
I normally don't post kids' stuff, but had to share these adorable new Marimekko dresses because the prints are just too great not to. I'm also loving this new Maija Louekari Pakkanen red & blue bird print...
